Last Thursday (29 November) the Nepal Youth Foundation hosted a fabulous fundraising event at the Tang Contemporary Gallery on Queen’s Road Central, featuring the beautiful winter white sculptures of Christian Lemmerz.
We were able to meet up and chat with some of our regular donors and also introduce our charity to people who had not come out before. There was a wonderful range of items in our silent auction, and guests were able to write their pledges on a winter white pine cone to hang on our Christmas Tree. Some guests even went so far as to dress for the theme!
Our Co-chair David Campbell announced our exciting plans to host an expedition to Nepal in 2019 and Shirin Staerkle from TwoPresents spoke briefly about their platform which brings charities together with families to make gift-giving meaningful while helping to raise funds.
